PENENTUAN SUDUT PANDANG VERTIKAL (ANGLE OF ELEVATION) OPTIMAL RUANG TERBUKA RUMAH

Abstract


Sudut pandang vertikal atau angle of elevation (AoE) adalah indikator yang sering dipakai untuk memperkirakan kesan keterlingkupan atau sense of eclosure (SoE) sebuah ruang terbuka. Berbeda dengan penelitian lain, tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mempelajari pengaruh AoE pada preferensi manusia akan ruang terbuka. Dihipotesakan bahwa preferensi kepada ruang terbuka sebuah rumah dipengaruhi oleh AoE secara kuadratik. Dari data yang telah terkumpul dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada persamaan kuadratik AoE yang secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap preferensi manusia akan ruang terbuka (R2= 0.976). Dari persamaan kuadratik tersebut diperoleh AoE optimal (AoEmax) sama dengan 46.87. AoEmax bisa digunakan untuk merancang sebuah ruang terbuka agar ruang yang dirancang tersebut memiliki preferensi yang optimal.
