Focus and Scope

International Journal of Contemporary Accounting (IJCA) is an international, peer reviewed, and research publication by the Economics Doctorate Program- Concentration in Accounting under Faculty of Economics, Universitas Trisakti.

IJCA serves as a platform for researchers, scholars, academic professionals, universities, and research organizations to raise contemporary key issues across disciplinary boundaries and facilitate sharing and exchanging views in the field of accounting, finance, capital market, corporate governance, strategy, sustainability, taxation and auditing. This journal accept works such as theoretical syntheses, conceptual models,  literature reviews, case studies and research papers using qualitative and quantitative methods or both.

 The journal is published two times a year (July and December). Potential research manuscripts will be reviewed by the professional members of the IJCA editorial board anonymously.

Peer Review Process

Manuscripts are subject to a double-blind review process and are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers. Decisions regarding the publication of a manuscript are based on the recommendations of these reviewers. Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on their appropriateness for the Journal, significance of contribution to the discipline, conceptual/theoretical adequacy, technical adequacy, and clarity of presentation. Manuscripts of members of the editorial board are subjected to the same review procedures.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 The journal is published two times a year (July and December). Potential research manuscripts will be reviewed by the professional members of the IIJM editorial board anonymously. The reviewing process usually takes eight to twelve weeks.
