Journal History

‘International Journal on Livable Space’ is published to initiate, disseminate, and discuss the knowledge of theoretical concept and proffesional pratices relate to human inhabitation and it's physical manifestation. The name  of ‘LivaS’  (‘Livable Space’) is taken from the main theme of the regular seminars organized since 2012. The 'IsLivas' international seminar was first organized at February 16-17, 2012 on essential topic: 'Creating Space For Better Life', in Jakarta, Indonesia. The seminar was conducted by  Department of Architecture, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Planning, Trisakti University, collaborated with IAI, Universitaet Stuttgart (Germany), IALI, IAP, Aptari, Polytechnic University of Milan (Italy).The second seminar was a national seminar on  ‘Sustainability of Livable Space in the Future: Eco-Architecture’. The seminar was held at December 3, 2015, in Jakarta, Indonesia. ‘International Journal on Livable Space’ was established at February 16, 2016, as a bi-annually open access journal. This journal is published two times a year in February and September and already registered in Google Scholar and Indonesian Publication Indeks. Turnitin to prevent any suspected plagiarism in the manuscripts is already used.
